Side Boom / Pipelayer Fundamentals - Hydraulic Draw Works This program is geared toward all persons who work around these machines or who have a need to be aware of how they operate and what they need to watch out for. This includes such things as lifting capacity, applicable standards and regulations, operations on slopes, etc. Operators should have a knowledge of all of this content and all other persons should be at least aware of this information. The machine types covered here are limited to those with hydraulic draw works.
Side Boom / Pipelayer Fundamentals - Live Draw Works This program is geared toward all persons who work around these machines or who have a need to be aware of how they operate and what they need to watch out for. This includes such things as lifting capacity, applicable standards and regulations, operations on slopes, etc. Operators should have a knowledge of all of this content and all other persons should be at least aware of this information. This program also illustrates specifically how the “live” draw works on this machine works, as well as some cautions related to using a live draw works equipped machine.
Lower-In Plans The installation of the pipe into the trench is one of the last activities before the pipe is buried. It is extremely important that the quality of this installation meets all the standards, specifications, and codes. Adequate Lower-In Plans aid in safe & productive execution.
